A Warm welcome is waiting for you at Forest Hill Christian Church. I realize every church believes they are the friendliest church in town. We are not saying we are the only friendly church in town but we believe we are genuinely friendly. We believe the test is in the visit, and our special guests tell us we more than pass the test
Now why do I emphasize this so much? We entered the new millennium understanding that people are constantly faced with rage on the highways, unconcerned people in the workplace, hours in front of a lonely computer screen, fear of gangs, disillusioned marriages, and the list goes on. So where do you find someone who cares? We believe you can do this with some of God's favorite children. That is why you have a warm welcome waiting.
We also believe that people have a basic hunger for God. The Psalmist said, "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the Living God. When can I go and meet with God?" (Psalm 42:1-2 NIV). We are constantly looking for a way to feed that hunger. We do that in our worship time on Sundays, our Bible studies at 9:30 a.m. and many other classes.
I'll have to admit that Forest Hill Christian Church is not a perfect church, but we DO serve a perfect Savior and we are longing to be more like Him.
